Barbecued Chicken
1 cup oil
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tsp. dry mustard
Whisk above ingredients very well and marinade the chicken pieces (cut up
pieces or boneless breasts) for 4 hours or so. Grill until browned and
serve or proceed with the following: Sauté some onion, peppers, and
mushrooms until just softened a little. Place your grilled chicken breast
on a baking pan and cover with a spoonful of the vegetables. Top with a
slice of provolone cheese and place under the broiler for a few minutes
until browned and serve.
*This marinade is also very good on steaks, but marinade overnight.
